Dear blog,
I miss you! I really do! I'v been missing in action. Please don't take it personal. I came back from vacation and sent my kids back to school. I thought I would have all this extra time. HA! What a joke. I have a crazy toddler that I have to chase. That is where the extra time I dreamt of gets spent. I love that crazy girl. I really want to get back into the habbit of posting regularly again.
Well, since I am back let me show you what I made for their first day of school. The oldest child was wearing a dress that I made out of two adult American Apparel T-Shirts. I used an old t-shirt of hers as a pattern, added some ruffle and there you have it. I LOVE that dress. She looks so good in that color. I loved working with knit fabric. I always thought that you had to have a serger but you really don't.
The "middle child" wore another dress that I made. I took plain white t-shirt and cut the neck and arms and added some "smocking" with elastic thread. For the skirt I just attached some ruffle fabric that I bought earlier this year. She loved it.

They look totally adorable!! Great job Mom.
